Epic Stories
Myths are stories filled with daring journeys, magical objects, strange creatures and arguments large enough to shake the world.
They helped ancient people explore questions about nature, family, bravery, life, death and what might be waiting beyond the horizon. Some stories are exciting, some are sad and others are so strange that you may wonder how anyone first imagined them. There is not always one version, because myths changed whenever they were retold. Pick a story, meet its characters and expect the unexpected. A missing hammer, wooden horse or golden fleece can lead to a truly enormous amount of trouble.Fun fact: Many myths were spoken aloud for generations before anyone wrote them down.
